Issue 27, Brighstone Buzz, 17th April, 2015

Welcome back. I hope that you have all had a lovely Easter holiday. It has been a beautiful sunny week and we have enjoyed being able to play on the field.

Mrs Pugh and I had a wonderful two weeks! We spent many happy hours with year 6 pupils hatching “Dragon’s Eggs” as part of several writing workshops during the holiday.

I would like to thank all of Jaguar Class for making Mrs Lincoln feel so welcome this week. She has joined us at Brighstone for the Summer Term and has been full of smiles at the end of each day.

The children have been very inspired by both our worship theme of friendship and our theme parks focus. I will keep you updated as the week’s progress. Many children have collaborated to produce friendship bracelets whilst thinking about the way that Jesus’s love and friendship weaves its way through our lives.

We have many exciting events and trips planned and we are looking forward to another fun filled term.

Have a great weekend

Ms Hall

Parent Survey – Feedback

“Brighstone School is an excellent school. Very happy with the progress my child is making”

“My child has come on in leaps and bounds and has massively surprised me. I am very happy.”

Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.

Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
