We were once again transported back in time at Brighstone Primary on Thursday. It was as though 100 years had rolled away and we were in 1914. We had military personnel, nurses, villagers, school children and even royalty; it was a delight to see. Amongst all of this we also had an important visitor who had a very important job to do. Nick was our friendly sound engineer who spent the morning helping us to record the children’s amazing singing he also captured the vocal talents of many of our wonderful parents and staff as well. I am thrilled to say we sound amazing and I know what everyone in my family will be getting for Christmas. If you would like copies of our CD please return the lilac order form as soon as possible so that we can get them back in time for Christmas.
The School council have met this week and I was impressed at the way they have organised themselves. I am meeting with several of the council this afternoon to discuss their ideas and in subsequent weeks they will be keeping our wider community updated via The Buzz.
November is whooshing past at an amazing rate… Christmas tree decorations and festival, Christmas Fayre and Christmas dinner are all just around the corner.
Have a super weekend.
