Welcome to Robertson Class

Welcome to Robertson Class! Named in honour of the first British woman to claim consecutive Olympic Gold Medals, Shirley Robertson is now considered one of the sport’s most successful broadcasters. With a reputation for a strong work ethic and obsessive attention to detail, away from the Olympic arena Shirley continued her sailing career, blazing a trail for women in the sport as the first ever female skipper in the ground breaking Extreme 40 Sailing Series. Shirley exemplifies our school value ‘Courage’ in her tireless pursuit for being the best that she can be in all of her endeavours. We hope that her pursuit for excellence will inspire the children to put 100% effort into everything they do.

Parent Survey – Feedback

“Brighstone School is an excellent school. Very happy with the progress my child is making”

“My child has come on in leaps and bounds and has massively surprised me. I am very happy.”

Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.

Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
