Welcome back and Happy New Year. Collective worship this half term is focusing on Courage. The children have been reflecting on the new challenges that they would like to achieve during the coming year in the knowledge that God will always give them the courage they need. I wish you well with any New Year resolutions you may have set yourself.
We welcomed Stephen Sutcliffe to our worship on Thursday who is a reader for St Mary’s Church. He commented on how wonderfully the children sang – they melted his heart.
Looking to the week ahead, year 2 are visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on Wednesday and swimming lessons for year 3 and some year 4 pupils will start on Friday.
There is a new addition to the dinner menu next Thursday; chef will be preparing a tasty ‘All Day Breakfast’ see menu below for more details. Don’t forget children in Year’s R, 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school dinner every day.
Look out for the FAB holiday club booking form. I would appreciate it if you could return the form as soon as possible if you would like to book a space as running the club for half term is dependent on numbers.
Thank you to those of you that have returned your parent consultation reply slips. There are limited spaces now available so if you haven’t already returned your form, please contact the office to book an appointment.
Have a great weekend. Ms Hall
