Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

Issue 22, 27th February, 2015, Brighstone Buzz

Welcome back. We have a very busy half term ahead.  School clubs have started this week and I have received many excited reports back already.  Several year groups have trips planned, in fact Year 2 have been quick off the mark and visited Brook Beach on Tuesday.  All of the children wrapped up to stay warm and had a terrific time.

I will have to put my thinking cap on this weekend as next Thursday is World Book Day and I have not decided which character I am going to be!

The week after we have Bentley Photography visiting and it is Red Nose Day!

Wow all this in only five weeks, we are going to have a fantastic fun time.

I wonder if you would like to join in the fun? We have a Mid-Day Supervisors post available starting after Easter, if you would be interested in joining our School, please let either Melissa or Suzanne know.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Parent Survey – Feedback

“Brighstone School is an excellent school. Very happy with the progress my child is making”

“My child has come on in leaps and bounds and has massively surprised me. I am very happy.”

Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.

Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
