We have been commemorating the lives that have been lost through the tragedy of war. We held a service of remembrance in St. Mary’s Church. Members of the Royal British Legion led the service with the playing of the Last Post and a two minute silence. Year 6 pupils sang Bring Him Home. Year 5 displayed their model of the Unknown Soldier and invited the congregation to write him a letter. Photographs of some of the proceedings are shown in the slide show, above.
