This week saw the start of our Family Learning Workshops, we had very positive feedback about Monday’s “Fantastic Forces” session, six families joined in with the exciting activities that were on offer: aeroplane construction, parachuting eggs and fantastic fun were all on the agenda. This coming Monday it is Year 3’s chance to join in and explore real minibeasts. There are still places available so if you would like to book your space on this or any future workshop, please let the office know. This opportunity is only open to those children accompanied by an adult.
The school joined together on Tuesday to congratulate all those who took part in the Brighstone Library Summer Reading Challenge. It was wonderful to see so many children collecting certificates.
Huge congratulations go to Year 5’s football team who have won their recent game against Greenmount 3-2.
Weather permitting our rugby players from Years 5 & 6 are travelling to All Saints this evening. Good Luck Brighstone!
Thanks to the huge volume of Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers we collected earlier this year, we have had a delivery of brand new shiny P.E equipment this week. Mrs Snow is busy pumping up balls, to make room for these we will be selling off old school footballs after school on Thursday the 16th of October for 50p each.
Wishing you all a great weekend.
