It was fantastic to see so many visitors yesterday for our Numeracy Fun afternoon. The children were still mathematically buzzing this morning and I had the pleasure of sharing the excitement with Year 3 as we solved problems after problem. Next Thursday is Literacy Fun afternoon at 1.30-2.30 p.m. and we hope to see as many visitors then. There will also be yet another opportunity for you to get involved later in the term when Brighstone School goes out and about … more details to follow!
Thank you to all of you who took part in our FAB survey. Your comments were considered at the Governors meeting on Tuesday and booking forms are out today for holiday club. We have only increased costs by £1.00 for a morning or afternoon session and full day provision has remained the same. Can I take this opportunity to thank you for your patience in this matter.
On Tuesday 16th June a special delivery will arrive in School at approximately 10.30 a.m. Mr. Bromley kindly arranged for vanilla ice-cream tubs to be delivered for every child. If for any reason you do not want your child to receive this please let us know. It is a wonderfully kind gesture by a man sadly missed.
You may have noticed a pink planning application outside of School. We are currently in the process of applying for planning to allow us to build two new classrooms! A decision will be reached soon and then the excitement will really begin. I will keep you updated. Have a great weekend. Ms. Hall
