Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

Issue 22, Friday 3rd March, 2017, Brighstone Buzz

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to school for the second half of our Spring Term. I hope you all had an enjoyable, rewarding and restful week with your children.

Today we have had lots of fun and excitement – celebrating World Book Day.
What an amazing range of costumes and book characters! The atmosphere for the costume parade this morning was vibrant. Thank you to everyone for making so much effort.

The theme for our day in the classrooms has been Fairy Tales.

Next week we have our Parent Consultation Evenings on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th March. Please do book an appointment with your child’s class teacher. If anyone would like to meet with me to discuss any school matters, please book an appointment through the school office – I am available on both evenings                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Best wishes

Parent Survey – Feedback

“Brighstone School is an excellent school. Very happy with the progress my child is making”

“My child has come on in leaps and bounds and has massively surprised me. I am very happy.”

Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.

Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
