What a delight to hand out so many awards in Golden Worship this morning. I look forward to seeing the names in the Golden Book for next week! We are also waiting to see who will be our Head boy and Girl for the year ahead. I received so many applications that I am still reading through them. I would like to thank all the members of Blue Whale class who took the time to write a letter of application. We will announce the successful applicants next Friday in Golden Worship (we will notify parents beforehand but I would be really grateful if you would keep it Top Secret!).
Leopard class travelled around the Isle of Wight this week, stopping off on their journey to explore. I am proud to tell you that they behaved impeccably, as we would expect and a good time was had by all.
The School Choir began practicing today and will be singing for us at occasions throughout the year.
I am happy to announce that we will shortly be offering parent and child Science workshops to Years 1 through to 6. These will take place on a Monday afternoon in the School hall and are an opportunity for parents to take part in activities alongside their children. These will begin on Monday 22nd September and will rotate throughout the year groups. More details on how to book your space will follow shortly.
Tuesday morning will see the Big Welly Sell off! We will be offering used wellies for only 50p a pair pop into the School Hall and pick up as many pairs as you like. If you are unable to attend but would like to purchase a pair please put the money in an envelope with your child’s name and marked clearly with which size you require and we will do our best to fulfil all requests.
I hope the Sun shines and wellies are surplus to requirements this weekend.
