Issue 12, Brighstone Buzz, 28th November, 2014

It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas. It is also started to sound a lot like Christmas too – the draft copy of our School CD has arrived and it is absolutely amazing, it sounds so professional.  Thank you for the orders that we have received we will be sending the order off today and I am sure it will not be long before they arrive.  I had the great pleasure of handing out a new award in Golden Worship today.  Every Friday we will be awarding a golden trophy and certificate to one Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 1 or Reception class pupils because they have been a good behaviour role model. Bailey and Macy were the recipients this week because they can always be trusted to do the right thing. When they return the trophy next Friday we will award it again.  Well done and I look forward to finding out who is selected next week.  Have a fabulous weekend.  Ms. Hall

Parent Survey – Feedback

“Brighstone School is an excellent school. Very happy with the progress my child is making”

“My child has come on in leaps and bounds and has massively surprised me. I am very happy.”

Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.

Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
