Apologies for the late arrival of the Buzz, I was interviewing for new members of staff all day on Friday.
Friday saw the children coming to school in Mufti and bringing along a cuddly friend all to raise money for Children in Need – Bess, Holly, Mica, Izzy and Bailey also held a bake sale after school. The grand total raised was a superb £289.67 a record breaking year for us. Well done and a huge thanks to everyone involved and to our star bakers for donating tasty baked goods! You may also like to know that we raised a fantastic £75.48 for the Poppy Appeal this year.
I’m sure you will have heard the big news by now?! I would like to join with the school community in congratulating Revd. Helen O’Sullivan on her appointment as Chaplain at St Pauls Cathedral. I am already thinking of School trips (to visit Helen) in the future!
It has been brought to my attention that we once again have an issue with Head Lice. It is more likely that we will break this cycle if everyone checks their child’s hair the same day and treats them if required. Friday is “bug busting day”. If you are unsure how to do this or would like assistance please contact the school office and we will put you in touch with other parents who have offered to help in our fight against Head Lice!
