We value this opportunity of sharing information about our school and how we work together to provide a rich, stimulating, caring environment for your child.
We believe that close communication and co-operation between home and school is vital in promoting the safe, secure environment for the well-being and success of every child. We are committed to providing your child with a wide range of high quality learning experiences, equipment, resources and an environment, that will enable all children to develop positive attitudes about themselves, including as learners, in order to have the best start on their learning journey.
The Governors and staff at Brighstone C. E. Aided Primary are dedicated, caring and hardworking people who devote a great deal of time and energy to the development of the School. We work as a team in order to ‘make things happen’ for the benefit of the children. We welcome parents’ help, support and involvement, both in and out of school, enabling us to provide the very best opportunities for each child.
Our recent ‘good’ Ofsted and ‘outstanding’ Section 48 (SIAS) inspections, highlighted our positive ethos, excellent partnerships, links with the community and high standards attained throughout the School: “The school has created a climate of trust and support…a real community†(Ofsted 2012)
We hope that you find this document useful and informative. We welcome everyone to our school and would be delighted to give you a tour of our school so that you can find out more.
